While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.
I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!
A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

What I love about summer is the late sunsets! More time to just enjoy the outdoors!
In Retreat and love the quit and finding God in the beauty of nature.
I especially love the abundance if fruits and vegables I go to the local farmers market early Saturday morning to get what I need for the coming week.
I love all the fresh fruits and veggies!
Summer is the time to go hiking on a new trails. Rain or shine, my husband and I grab our backpacks, water, a picnic lunch (our own smoked wild caught salmon and fruit and veggies from a farmers market or our own garden). Only a few years away from retirement, we always make time for a walk in nature. We always manage to see a new type of bird, plant, flower or tree. It is always so peaceful and beautiful to see new sites.
I love the outside time with the grand kids. They are out of school and ready for lots of playing at the park, beach, mountains etc. I get in all my activity and steps when I am around them. Now rest for the weary!! They are my “why”. Have a great day!!
I love having a garden and sharing with neighbors. Not having to wear a coat and being able to jump in the car and go and not have to drive thru snow. Being able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine, birds singing,seeing all the pretty flowers and getting more exercise.
Grilling out too!
I love getting tan, eating WW friendly Applegate turkey hot dogs, getting in more steps, and drinking more water!
Flip Flops and watermelon! Actually I love all the fresh fruits and vegetables, but flip flops and fresh watermelon takes me back to childhood and a much simpler time of life!
I LOVE all the time spent outside, whether it is kayaking, camping, sitting by a bonfire in the backyard… doesn’t matter as long as I’m outside and enjoying the weather! The summer thunderstorms are a bonus!
