The winner of the Ninja blender (affiliate link) is: Sherri Terry

Congratulations, Sherri. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your blender (affiliate link)!

Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. Summer to me is the start of a new season and signifies a fresh beginning for all. I look forward to the sun, warm and shining, the clear happy songs in the loud chirp of the birds as if they also recognize a new day and the fresh, clean, crisp air that is a delight to take in. It’s a time to look forward to the new growth of trees, grass and flowers as well as fresh grown fruits and vegetables, outdoor healthy cooking and the many new summer recipes to try! Thank you for helping me refresh my memory of how much I truly enjoy the summer season!

  2. The thing I love most about summer is growing veggies and fruits in your garden and enjoying making the meals with them and the good health benefits.

  3. I love boating in the summer which in IL is only about 6……but for us diehard boaters, we can often stretch that it about 8ish.
Thanks for the opportunity to be entered in the contest

  4. I love that the days are longer and the nights shorter. For me I enjoy being outdoors at 8:30 p.m. and it’s still light out!

  5. I love the smell of freshly cut grass; the smell of roses in bloom; birds chirping merrily in the park; squirrels scampering up and down the bright green trees, and a tall cold glass of lemonade, all while sitting on the front porch!

  6. What do I love most about summer? Berries and stone fruit! And tomatoes. And squash! Longer days with sunlight. Smell of Coppertone and chlorine. Tan lines from gardening. Sleeping with my windows open. Fireflies! Smell of BBQ
