I’m pleased to announce the addition of a new contributor to Simple Nourished Living: Liz Josefsberg, author of the bestselling book, Target 100: The World’s Simplest Weight Loss Program in Six Easy Steps.
Weight Watchers members may recognize Liz from her previous work at Weight Watchers, where she served as their Brand Advocate, Spokesperson and Celebrity Weight Loss Coach. You may have seen her on Oprah, Dr. Oz or Good Morning America!
In the coming weeks Liz will be sharing posts to help educate and inspire you to live YOUR healthiest life.
Today, I’ll turn this over to Liz, so she can tell you more about herself and what she is up to these days…
Hi. My name is Liz Josefsberg.
I am so excited to be able to share some of my thoughts, ideas and recipes here on Simple Nourished Living. I adore the support and tone that I feel here.
I really wanted to tell you a little about myself, so when you see my blogs pop up here and there you will know I really “get it.”
I spent the majority of my life battling my weight. I was an overweight child and struggled well into adulthood. For years I yo-yo dieted and forced myself through punishing workout routines because I felt I had to atone for my bad eating habits.
I finally lost 65 pounds with Weight Watchers, got a job there and spent 11 years of my life as their Brand Advocate, Spokesperson and Celebrity Weight Loss coach. I helped everyone from Jennifer Hudson to Jessica Simpson, Charles Barkley and Katie Couric lose weight.
As the Weight Watchers Ambassador, I made appearances on television shows including Good Morning America, The Dr. Oz Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show and more.
In 2011 and 2012, I co-hosted and appeared on episodes with Dr. Oz promoting and supporting the first ever Dr. Oz’s Transformation Nation: Million Dollar You program as not only an expert, but a celebrity judge.
I also wrote two books that were sold in Weight Watchers locations: “Success Handbook” (2013, Weight Watchers) and “Find Your Fingerprint”.
About three years ago I decided to leave Weight Watchers to pursue further education in wellness and exercise. I became a N.A.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Exercise Specialist and began consulting all over the weight loss and wellness industry.
My main goal has always been to learn and share as much as I possibly can about weight loss and wellness. I’m always on a quest for the newest information, technology and education to help people achieve their weight loss goals with more ease. I have recently consulted for companies across the country such as LifeTime Fitness, Misfit Wearables and more.
But most of all, I try, everyday, to raise a healthy family (I have 2 small boys and an amazing husband) and live a healthy life. I am truly hopeful that I can educate and inspire you to live YOUR healthiest life.
