Hi Martha. I just love all old hometown organization and church cookbooks. It’s fun to read and try the old recipes.
I use the internet mostly now to get new recipes. I have given away most of my cookbooks which were collecting dust and using space.
My favorite Cookbook is my church cookbook, Buchanan First Presbyterian Church Presbyterian Women. The recipes are family favorites and represent some of the best cooks in the Appalachian Mountains.
I love the “Eat What You Love” and the other cookbooks by Marlene Koch.
My favorite cookbooks are those from fundraisers as they always have the best of the best for home cooking. Just nice simple everyday food that you can enjoy over and over again 🙂

My go-to cookbook is The Joy of Cooking. I originally had the paperback version, which fell apart, so I bought a hardcover the second time. I can find almost any recipe and all about various foods. It makes me more confident with my cooking.
