  1. I love cooking with crock pots. My favorite cook book is called skinny crockpot recipes. All recipes are around or below 300 calories.

  2. The “Joy of Cooking” by Irma Rombauer and family is my go to book for learning the basics and also for being “fancy”. Techniques, tips and substitutions are all well and plainly written. I have 4 editions going back to 1939.

  3. The cookbook I’be used over the years is Cooking for Two. I used it because the recipes were simple and delicious.

  4. I have several older cookbooks, but most of my recipes now come from online sources. I especially like the Skinnytaste site. I love that she provides easy-to-use categories. I visit the slow cooker section quite often.

    Thanks for the chance!

  5. My favorite cookbook was actually my mom’s and it isn’t really a book but a binder where she kept, and I keep, family recipes handed down from her mom to her and now to me. It contains more than recipes it holds memories.
