My favorite cookbook is the MKL Hospitality House Cookbook because it’s recipes from the staff, board, volunteers & clients. I was employed at this nonprofit for 9 years. It was a home away from for families with loved ones in hospitals. If a family could not afford a hotel we made this House comfortable for them. I’ve tried almost every recipe in this cookbook & have fond memories of an awesome group of people.
I still have the Betty Crocker and it is good for finding lot’s of recipes. Old favorites. Thanks.
I have a cookbook that my 30 year old son’s kindergarten class compiled for a Christmas gift. There are some terrific receipes in it as well as some comical ones.
I love my Campbell’s soup cook book because they are easy, tasty & affordable recipes. I grew up onCampbells soup as many have I’m sure. So it’s nostalgic too.
I have many, but one of my very favorites is Big Night In, written by Italian Cookbook author Domenica Marchetti. I worked with Domenica many years ago before she began to explore her Italian roots and family recipes. I love how she delves richly into family and location in her recipes.
“Where’s Mom Now that I Need Her?” My Mom gave it to me 30 years ago. It has basic recipes and tips. It is well organized and has plenty of room where she and I wrote her recipes. I use it all the time. I highly recommend it as a funny, useful, and memorable gift.
No favorite cookbook. I usually get my recipes from online bloggers or from people at my WW meetings. Thanks for contest!
I have saved recipes from friends and family forever (since we were first married, 53 years ago), some are hand written, some are cut from magazines and newspapers. I keep the all recipes in clear plastic pages to keep clean and from yellowing or tearing. They are kept in two 3″ binders. As a ‘guide’ for prepping and cooking I have the Joy of Cooking cookbook.
The Lewisburg Lioness Club community cookbook. It was printed in the early 1980s and has recipes from ladies in the community who seemed to be everyone’s grandmother. Old-fashioned, country, home-cookin’ comfort food. I cherish that book and some pages are frayed from frequent use by my mom and now me after my mom passed away.
Joy of cooking is probably my favorite cookbook. It’s got everything.
