White bean and ham with kale.
My favorite dish to make in the slow cooker is Swiss Steak. Round steak dredged in a little flour and browned, smothered in stewed tomatoes. You can add carrots and celery and a little Worcestershire sauce. Serve gravy over mashed potatoes! So simple and cheap yet yum!
I have cooked in my crockpots—yes, I have more than one!— since I married in 1977. My oven looks new since I rarely use it—it’s Crockpot all the way.
With all those settings I’d be able to make my favorite chili before church and have it ready to serve at half time!!! Go Bears!
So hard to picka favorite. Beans of all sorts are so easy in a crock pot. You have given us so many delicious recipes for many different foods to use in one making my journey to better health easier. Thanks.
I like to make anything with chicken in my slow cooker
Hands down it would have to be my moms beef stew!
