Fortunately turning our thoughts to what we have to be thankful for, focusing on the positive, seeking the silver lining, keeping the faith, is an effective ways to brighten the darkest moods with proven health benefits to boot.

Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.

I am thankful that my church, St. Cyprian’s Parish, decided to have mass on YouTube. I certainly missed the sense of peacefulness that attending mass gives me. My living room may not be the perfect setting, but for now that is the best we can do. I am sure that God is fine with it.
I am so grateful for so many things. I recently moved into a glorious townhouse that is in a great neighborhood close to shopping and other places. I met a wonderful man named Dan who is 2 years older than me. Our relationship started out as a professional one, but it deepened into a friendship and now is deepening into something more. Dan is a sweet, kind attractive man who is caring and concerned. I find myself falling in love with him and it is being returned
I just embarked on a new writing career and it is developing nicely
I have lost 25 lbs and have 70 more to go. Slow and steady wins the race
I adopted a new kitty from a shelter and my other cat is getting along with her great
