Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.
The health benefits of expressing gratitude are many. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they’re thankful for experience:

I am grateful for all my friends who are checking up on me and bringing me food. I am also grateful that at this time of pandemic that I am still able to lose weight thanks to Weight Watcher Virtual meetings and not having the food that tempts me in the house.
I am grateful for my healthy body and especially now during these times I am grateful for the health of my family.
I am grateful for my family, my country, and freedom. Most of all I am grateful for a God who cares for me unconditionally.
I am grateful for my health so that I can help others in need during this crisis .
I am grateful for all of the staff working overtime in the assisted living residence where my mother lives. They are going above and beyond in ensuring her safety, physical well being, and mental well being during this time of isolation from her family.

In this difficult time we are experiencing in the world with the virus, I am very thankful that my husband and I have a safe home, food, our pets and friends that check on us regularly. We can still stay in touch even if are not able to meet in person.
