  2. Holidays or even basic get togethers are difficult for my family. My special needs daughter usually causes a very chaotic scene. But I try my best to have some family over. My favorite part of Christmas is the few times all is calm and all my children are happy. Even if only for a minute or two. It means a lot to me.

    Spending time with family laughing, sharing and hugging is the best Christmas gift.
    I love “It’s a wonderful life” movie. Has great meaning.
    I would like to try the cheesy cauliflower italian bake. Sounds delicious.
    My best advise to lose weight would be to really make a commitment. Without that there is a chance of failure. Drinking lots of water is key. Also planning ahead is key to not eating a lot of the wrong foods. I hope to make this year a healthy year with more fun, exercise and positive thoughts. Thank you for your yummy recipes and good ideas.

    Dieting can be an emotional roller-coaster, but then again, so can life. Along these lines, you don’t want your emotions to drive your eating habits. Watch out for boredom, depression, or anxiety, and when you experience those emotions, seek out healthy activities other than eating.
