  1. The thing I love most about Christmas is spending time with family and friends, especially those we don’t get to see enough of throughout the year.

My favorite Christmas movie of all time is It’s A Wonderful Life because it reminds me that we’re all here for a reason and even when things aren’t perfect they’re pretty darn wonderful!

In January I’d like to try the Easy Healthy Chicken Fajitas recipe because it’s a favorite of my sons and I don’t make fajitas often enough even though I like them because I’ve always thought they were time consuming to make and not the healthiest choice. It looks like this recipe is both easy and certainly healthy…maybe something I can even get my son to eat without him even realizing it’s healthy.

Establishing healthy habits is the secret to weight loss that resonates most with me. I feel like this will be key to successful weight loss I can maintain. If the changes don’t become habit, second nature, I know the scale will go right back up…it’s happened before.

My top health/wellness goal for 2018 is to lose the weight I regained after my father died in 2013 (I’ve got 28 pounds to go). I lost 42 pounds before he passed away and over the next 3 years I gained most of it back and I’ve been struggling to get it all back off. I actually need to lose more than that, but I’ve set that as my goal for 2018 hoping if I don’t make the goal too overwhelming I’ll be more successful.
