Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Weight Struggle
I have struggled with my weight since the end of high school. I put on a lot of weight in my graduating year. And it constantly fluctuated. I was never the "skinny" girl.
After my son was born I basically blew up. I didn't care anymore. I ate anything and everything. My highest weight recorded was 230 lbs, with a 5'1" frame I was all top heavy. I just felt disgusting looking at myself.
What Was Your Wake-Up Call Or "A-Ha Moment" That Caused You To Really Commit Yourself To Succeeding?
I couldn't do anything anymore. I saw a picture of myself and I just couldn't believe it was me. No wonder I couldn't breath or walk long periods. I was always sore. I tried so many times before and continued to fail. This time I wasn't allowing it. This time I had to see what would happen if I didn't quit!
How Have Your Eating Habits Changed Since Beginning Your Journey? What Did You Eat Before And What Are You Eating Now?
I watch everything I eat now. I still cheat every once in awhile, but to me this is not a diet. This is a lifestyle. When I do cheat I don't continue to cheat throughout the day, or into the next day. I eat next to no carbs where as before my whole diet consisted of carbs.

I can actually do things now! I can join in on the fun! I can't believe after just 10 months I've lost 71 lbs! I'm down from 225+ lbs to 153 lbs.

Honestly it's how I see myself now. I feel amazing. And I feel like I can do anything. It has really increased my confidence. I actually love to shop now. Although I need to go because I haven't bought anything new since I started my journey.
How Much Weight Have You Lost? How Long Did It Take You To Lose It?
I am currently down 71 pounds. I started the beginning of May and in about 9 months and counting, I'm down from 225+ pounds to 153 pounds!
Some Advice and/or Words of Wisdom I'd Like To Share
If there's anything I can say to anyone out there is this. Please please please do not depend on that scale. I've gone 2-3 months at a time and the scale would just hover around the same 5 lbs up or down. It was frustrating to see but my body continued to change even without that scale! Trust your journey and the process! You will be surprised at what's possible.
