When I was younger I never had the best eating habits.
I ate supper late at night and never really watched my portion sizes.
I dropped sports because I didn’t feel like I could fit in with the other girls.
What Was Your Wake-Up Call Or “A-Ha Moment” That Caused You To Really Commit Yourself To Succeeding?
I didn’t want to become diagnosed with diabetes or increase the risk of my chance of cancer.
How Have Your Eating Habits Changed Since Beginning Your Journey? What Did You Eat Before And What Are You Eating Now?
When I eat I drink lots of water before, chew slowly and make sure I chew my food enough times too!
I am eating lots of fruits, vegetables, and protein now. I use to eat processed cereal, KFC, chips, canned soups, or instant foods.
What Is The Difference In Your Fitness Before You Started And Now?
My fitness has been increased 100%!
When I started, I was doing one mile of extra walking a day, then the next month I increased it to two miles, and then in my third month I did a 25 minute cardio and 1.5 mile walk.
What Has Been The Biggest Change/Payoff For You So Far?
The biggest change for me was the lifestyle. Being healthy is so much different. My thoughts, daily routines, and just getting up is different.
I am enjoying being healthy a lot more then when I would just sit at home all day.
Becoming healthy is one of best things I have ever done for myself.
How Much Weight Have You Lost? How Long Did It Take You To Lose It?
I have lost 50 pounds.
