I’m back with another inspiring weight loss success story.

As a fellow Weight Watchers Lifetime member, I loved reading about how Stephanie used the Weight Watchers program to lose 135 pounds and keep it off for more than a decade.

Her before and after photos are a stunning illustration of her incredible outward transformation. Her words powerful confirmation of all the positive things that happen on the inside when you take control of food, eating, and your weight.

I love when she says that, “Food no longer controls my life, and my health is excellent. I can focus on other areas, and enjoy my family without obsessing over weight. I love being able to wear the same clothes because my weight is stable and maintained.”

It’s what I call ‘food freedom,’ freedom from the bondage that food causes when you allow it to control your life.

And her words of wisdom to others who are struggling are priceless, ” Have determination, confidence, a structured plan, support system if possible and know that life-long weight loss and healthy changes are very possible without restrictive dieting.”

Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Weight Struggle
I struggled with obesity throughout my 20’s as I was working as an RN, starting a family. I reached 275 pounds by the time I was 29-years-old.

Thanks to Weight Watchers, at the age of 30, I initiated a realistic weight loss plan and lost 135 pounds. For the past decade I have maintained my 140 pound goal weight.

What Was Your Wake-Up Call Or “A-Ha Moment” That Caused You To Really Commit Yourself To Succeeding?
My wake up call came when I was forced to use an airplane lap extender.

How Have Your Eating Habits Changed Since Beginning Your Journey? What Did You Eat Before And What Are You Eating Now?
Less portions definitely!

What Is The Difference In Your Fitness Before You Started And Now?
I take time to walk or use my eliptical at least a few days per week.

What Has Been The Biggest Change/Payoff For You So Far?
Food no longer controls my life, and my health is excellent. I can focus on other areas, and enjoy my family without obsessing over weight. I love being able to wear the same clothes because my weight is stable and maintained.

How Much Weight Have You Lost? How Long Did It Take You To Lose It?
135 lb total. I lost 75 lbs. in about one year. The rest over 15 months or so.

Advice and/or Words of Wisdom to Others Who Are Struggling?
