Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Weight Struggle
My weight problems started back when I was in second grade. My first attempt at losing weight was my last year of high school and I had some success but the weight came back on quickly with more than there was before.

I have struggled my entire life with being fat and lost out on so much fun growing up because I was always embarrassed about everything. I was always thinking people were making fun of me all of the time.

So on September 18, 2012, I made the decision to give it one more try.

I walked into Weight Watchers on that day scared to death that I wasn’t going to make it through the first week. I wanted to lose weight, I just wasn’t sure if I was ready to commit.

Happy to say 3 1/2 years later, I lost 121 pounds and reached lifetime. I feel like I have been reborn. I weigh less now than I did in 7th grade!

What Was Your Wake-Up Call Or “A-Ha Moment” That Caused You To Really Commit Yourself To Succeeding?
I saw a very large woman in one of those electric carts in Walmart and it occurred to me that one day I will be just like her.

How Have Your Eating Habits Changed Since Beginning Your Journey? What Did You Eat Before And What Are You Eating Now?
It is embarrassing when I think about how horrible my eating habits were before starting my weight loss journey.

I would eat everything and lots of it. I don’t think I ever knew what it was like to be hungry.

I weigh and measure everything now. I also track and pre-plan my meals. I will print out my daily menus and put them on my fridge, so when I get up each morning there is no guess work as to what I will be eating that day. It sure makes grocery shopping easier.

Before starting Weight Watchers my diet consisted of a lot of fried foods and sweets. Now I eat lots of chicken, vegetables and fruit.

What Is The Difference In Your Fitness Before You Started And Now?
Before losing the weight I had no desire or the energy to do any form of movement. Now I run and or walk at least 1 hour everyday.

What Has Been The Biggest Change/Payoff For You So Far?
Being able to walk into any store to buy clothes for myself. I love dressing up now.

How Much Weight Have You Lost? How Long Did It Take You To Lose It?
I have lost 121 pounds and it took me 3 1/2 years.

Advice and/or Words of Wisdom to Others Who Are Struggling?
Find what works for you and make sure it is something that you can continue to do even after you have lost all of your weight.

This has to be a lifestyle change, not just a change until you get to the weight you want to be.

If you have a bad day, a bad week or a bad month, don’t give up – just get back on track. “It doesn’t matter how long it takes to lose the weight, that time will pass anyway.”
