I have a funny answer. It’s my countertop itself! I live in my kitchen and my lovely countertops are home to my slow cooker, my instant pot, my rice cooker, and my wok. I prepare, cut, portion, and prepare to serve on my countertop. It is very clean always and I work my kitchen towels to the bare threads in my kitchen. I also built a rolling cart in my kitchen that matches the countertops and it is used for laundry, breakfast, making pizza, paying bills, and sorting vitamins. I live on that cart. One minute there is a pot roast, then 15 minutes later is covered with folded laundry. I could not pick just one thing in my kitchen (my favorite knife) or a machine. It’s my wonderful counters and I love them. Thank you Martha for continuing to inspire me as I am still struggling right now with my weight. Your emails are the bright spots in my days! Thank you!
I love my toaster oven! There’s just two of us so it’s perfect to bake dinner or just bake a few cookies for dessert.

I could not be without my toaster oven or my egg poacher. The toaster oven is the best invention yet. So useful for toasting, baking, warming things you don’t want to put in the microwave. You can actually bake a cake in the larger ones. Why would you want to heat up your regular oven, especially what it is 102 degrees outside.

My Keurig coffeemaker is my favorite counter tool . We used to have a toaster oven but when it broke we replaced with a toaster. We miss our toaster oven.
