Happy Thanksgiving Week!
I love Thanksgiving. It’s one of my favorite holidays. With its focus on gathering together with loved ones to enjoy delicious food and give thanks for all our blessings, what’s not to love?
So in honor of the upcoming turkey day festivities and as a small token of our deep appreciation for you, we are giving away one of my favorite kitchen tools for healthy cooking and weight loss – an Instant Pot!

Have you heard of the Instant Pot?
It is a multifunction electric pressure cooker that can produce fork-tender pot roasts in less than an hour, as well as brown meat, cook beans without soaking, and even do the job of a rice cooker (affiliate link) or crockpot.

Though you can find the Instant Pot at Wal-Mart, Target and Kohl’s, the bulk of its sales come from Amazon where it is a top-selling item.
I bought mine a couple of years ago and have been using it consistently ever since – mostly as a slow cooker.
I love that you can switch from saute to slow cooking with the press of a button.
My brother, Peter is experimenting more with pressure cooking to make things like this homemade pumpkin puree.
I could go on and on, but I won’t!
Without further ado…
This Giveaway has ended, please see winner above!

1. Spending time with family/friends (they make a day full of beautiful memories)
2. I always roast the turkey (I would try a fried turkey but I’m too scared to actually make one).
3. Stuffing/dressing is my favorite, it’s a recipe that my grandmother made every year, it’s really delicious but it also reminds me of her (she passed a few years ago and holidays aren’t the same, but I’m happy I can at least recreate her recipe every year).
eating, roast , all of the above !!!
1. EATING
2. ROASTED
3. ALL OF THE ABOVE
My favorite activity at Thanksgiving is visiting with family I haven’t seen for a while. We tend to begin remembering Thanksgiving past and times when we were all together.
We did a traditional roasted turkey this year; in the past we did have a turkey bake/fry off. We bought two smaller turkeys and my husband fried one in peanut oil and I baked one in the oven. We had a larger gathering that year and no turkey left over so everyone won.
My favorite splurge for Thanksgiving is the stuffing and pumpkin pie with real whipped cream
Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays
