Are you tapped into your power? Are you clear about the source of your power?
Which do you believe to be more powerful – your actions or your thoughts and beliefs?
Often we focus our attention on our actions, believing that what we do is important.
And it is.
But always remember that energy follows thought. Make no mistake about it…
Your thoughts and beliefs are powerful!
So, when you get caught up focusing on everything that’s going wrong, guess what you get back and often end up creating more of?
That’s right…More negativity.
It’s time to adjust your attitude and thoughts if you want to achieve lasting success with healthy balanced weight loss (or anything).
When you focus on everything that is going RIGHT in your life, then you will receive that back ten-fold. It’s uplifting and encouraging and spurs you on to action.
Most of us have lots going right. If you are alive, breathing, eating and moving, you surely have something positive to focus on!
We just tend to get mired down in the muck of what’s not right which is why we get stuck.
Remember that what you focus on, grows.
Another way of saying it is, energy follows thought. Or the thought precedes the deed!
So, where are your directing your thoughts and attention?
Are you obsessed with size of your hips or thighs, your weight struggles, you love handles, your lack money, your stress, your lack of control?
If so, guess what’s growing in your life?
Yes, the very things that you don’t want are taking up your thoughts and life energy.
It’s impossible to focus on what’s great and what’s not at the same time.
What if you focused on nourishing your body with good foods instead?
Or, moving your body in ways that feel good?
What if you focused on the hobbies and interests that you’ve been dreaming about?
What if you focused on the things that are working and what you have accomplished in your life?
What if you placed your attention on all the things and people you are thankful for?
How would your life be different?
For the next 24 to 48 hours, I encourage you to notice where you are focusing your attention.
Is that what you want to grow in your life? If not, redirect your thoughts and attention.
When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.
You have the power to change the thoughts that aren’t working for you. When you change your thoughts, you begin to change your results!
Your thoughts are powerful. Be sure to use them to your benefit, not your detriment!
