  1. With a slow-cooker, you can have a home-cooked meal in the summertime without heating up your kitchen.

  2. The best thing about slow cookers is you get to scrap the bottom with a piece of bread when all the food is out and soak up all those flavors left behind! My favorite is sprouted bread of course!

  3. In the winter I love making soup and chill, in the summer it keeps the house cool. No need to start the oven.

  4. I did not grow up in a home with a slow cooker so it was my husband who introduced me to one. I wasn’t sure how I felt about putting lots of ingredients in a pot and leaving it there all day but ——WOW!!!! love it! When you both work until late in the evening, no one wants to have to spend an hour in the kitchen. Love the slow cooker and have always wanted one that was programmable? ?. head blown

  5. That it gets the meat very, very tender and not having to keep checking on it! I make BBQ’s and the roast slow cooks for 12hours. Yum! the best
