  1. I love slow cooking in all seasons. It helps me feel more in control of the foods my family and I choose to eat, which makes me feel like a good wife and mother.

  2. It doesn’t heat up the kitchen! We live in TX and it is so hot here so our AC runs most of the time. I’m so glad when I can fix a nice dinner and not have a overheated kitchen.

  3. Are you kidding. So many things:
    Easy prep
    Easy cleanup
    Meal’s ready when you are
    So many fabulous recipes

  4. Slow cookers are so versatile!
When I am preparing a big meal for the entire family, it helps free up oven or stovetop space.
Often I will prepare green beans or mashed potatoes ahead of time and put them in my slowcooker on warm. This works great to keep food warm if I am going to a family reunion or potluck supper.
Meats come out so flavorful and tender and always perfect in the slow cooker.

  5. I work at a dance studio so my work hours are 4 pm until 10 pm.. With a slow cooker, I can not only make sure that the family has dinner despite my not being home, I can also make enough so that I can take dinner with me to the studio.. Saving lots of money AND making sure I can get a healthy meal, instead of take out..

  6. My kids come home tired and grumpy from school and getting dinner ready during the Witching Hour is always a challenge. I can throw food into a slow cooker at a more convenient time and then avoid the stress of trying to get something fresh and hot ready during this tough time and instead focus on keeping them engaged.

  7. I can put everything in one pot, for several hours. I can go off and do other important things, without worrying about dinner! When I return, the combination of all the flavors, have developed into a meal that is delicious and satisfying!! And of course, the easy clean up, is so convenient! I love slow cooking!!

  8. I love using the Crockpot during the summer, because of the heat and not heating up the house…
I also love using the Crockpot during the winter, it’s so easy to make soups and its ready at the end of the day…easy peasy!
