  1. I love slow cooking because it allows me to make a well balanced meal during summers without the added heat of cook top or oven. I put what I want to cook into the slow cooker and by evening I have a great meal to put on the table. During cooler months I use a slow cooker to make hearty soups and stews. It’s my most used kitchen appliance, year round!

  2. I love coming home and having the aroma of a yummy dinner hit me as soon as I walk in to the house.

  3. What I love most about slow cooking is being able to put it all in one pot and be able to smell that wonderful odor of chicken and dumplings as it permeates the whole house. It makes me think of growing up in the 50’s and coming home from school and smelling my mom’s cooking as she slaved over the stove all day. No slaving over the stove for me.

  4. Love the fact that you can serve a delicious meal and not have to worry about it much. The ease and variety of meals you can make is incredible.

  5. I’m retired now so most days I have time to cook but the crock pot is still a blessing . I do volunteer work and sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking. Plus when I cook in the crockpot I have plenty of freezer meals

  6. I love the convenience; I can spend time with my family or company and not be in the kitchen cooking missing out on all the conversations and fun.

  7. I love that I can put the ingredients in the crockpot in the morning and then when I am hungry at dinner time I don’t have to take time to cook. It keeps me from grazing while I cook too.
