  1. I love cooking with all the different kinds of squash- butternut, acorn, delicata. I love cooking all kinds of soups and chili in my slow cooker and coming home from work to a wonderful smelling house and dinner ready to be put on the table!

  2. Even though I live in Florida where it’s still Summer, I love the Fall comfort dishes. We just crank up the AC and make pork chops and apples or warming soups. AND all kinds of APPLE dishes although October signals a switch to PUMPKIN!

  3. The change in color of the leaves, pumpkins, cooking soups & stews, taking walks in the crisp air! I love it all!!

  4. This is my favorite time of year. I love the annual leaf dance that happens, the change in the way the air feels, the softening of the light. I always get a bit nostalgic as well, a little homesick, a little more introspective.

  5. I love everything about Fall, except the rainy, dreary days. I love the Fall leaf colors; the smells in the air; the Fall breeze; apples to make pies, applesauce & crisps for freezing; cabbages to make cabbage rolls for the freezer as well. zI lve squash, corn, tomatoes and other produce to can/freeze too. My house usually smells good for weeks (or I should say used to) as I can’t hold a knife for long now due to the arthritis in my fingers and my hands shaking so badly. I would love this slow cooker with a big batch of cabbage rolls cooking away!
