Besides the leaves turning and the cockpot cooking. Oct is my birthday month
LOVE the COLORS and cooler temperatures.
Also the start of Comfort food season!
I LOVE THE WEATHER AND THE COLORS, ALSO TO COOK IN OVEN.
I love that first crisp morning when a sweater feels just right and a fire in the fireplace at the end of the day. College football, World Series, Thanksgiving. All great times to entertain that are made easier by having a slow cooker!
I love the cooler soup weather
The weather is my favorite this time of year. I live in the Pacific NW and fall means cooler days, much cooler nights, leaves falling and the occasional storm. This is truly my favorite time of the year.
Fall is that perfect balance of summer and winter for me – some cool days, some warm days. I love the SMELLS of fall. Eating at home more than eating out so the aromas in the house are cozy. The cinnamon, pumpkin, apple, just SPICE. And the decorations – I love them more than Christmas evening. Like a warm blanket for my heart. It’s time to refresh my old crockpot, so I wanted to enter, but I appreciate the opportunity to appreciate too. 🙂
The fall crisp air, apple cider and apple pie. Fireplaces burning on cool nights.
I love the crisp air, and the vibrant and beautiful colors that the fall brings to the outdoors.
Sooooo many things I love about Fall! Having to wear a sweater (finally!) because the morning air is crisp, the crunch of the leaves as you walk through them, and the smell of them as you go…..the amazing colors we’re blessed to have in this area…..the Canada Geese honking overhead as they make their way south for the winter (I’m so jealous!!)….it’s all fall to me!!
And best off all, I can dig the slow cooker out after a summer’s worth of it hibernating in the cupboard, and make the soups and chilis and stews I so love in the colder weather! And thanks to you, I can make them far healthier without sacrificing the stick-to-your-ribness and wonderful fall and winter flavors!! There’s nothing better than coming home from work and finding a fabulous crock of chowder hot and ready to go with no further prep necessary other than a slice of crusty bread and butter!
Being from waaaaaay Upstate NY, I expect to see the first snowflakes fall before Halloween, and “sandal weather” won’t happen again until June, so needless to say, my slow cooker gets put to good use for several months before we retire it again!
Keep up the wonderful work you do, and thanks again for making Weight Watchers food fabulous!
