The sweet aroma of apples cooking, with lots of cinammon… or the pungent aroma of pork & sauerkraut cooking slowly all day…Summer cooking “fragrances” don’t stay inside the house as well as those of fall….Now, with the days just beginning to shorten, it makes you want to come home & stay inside all evening… slowly enjoying the foods that have been cooking all the day…..
Living in California, we don’t get much in the typical Fall weather. However, we have gorgeous trees along the residential streets that only bloom once per year. Those are my favorite!!!!!
I love fall because it’s “soup season!” The crockpot is very useful to make great soups are ready to eat when I get home from work.
Fall leaves and hearty soups and stews again.

Cool lazy days with beautiful fall colors trees and new recipes to try. Recipes with low WW Points and warm fire in the fireplace when the weather changes. Cuddling up in front of my embroidery machine while watching Christmas gifts come to life as o eat my low point lunch and/or dinner.
