Unfortunately, dips can be extremely high in fat and calories. That's where dips made with "skinny dip ingredients" come in. Made lighter and healthier without sacrificing flavor, they are sure to please even the most picky palates.
Strategies for Using "Skinny Dip" Ingredients
An easy way to lower the fat and calories of your favorite creamy dips is to swap out some of all of the full-fat ingredients for low fat alternatives.
- Low-fat mayonnaise for regular
- Low-fat sour cream, or non-fat Greek yogurt, for regular sour cream
- Non-fat, or reduced-fat cream cheese, for full fat
- Pureed cottage cheese for mayonnaise or sour cream
You get the idea.
Pureed beans and roasted vegetables work well too.
