  1. I currently have a slow cooker of white navy bean soup with andouille sausage on. Cooked in low-fat chicken broth, with onions, celery, and fresh thyme. About an hour before it is finished, I put a “bunch” of bite-sized kale & Red wine vinegar. The sausage is supposed to be placed in the beans and allowed to cook as the beans do, but to cut back on the fat, I broil or grill the sausage, discard the grease and actually rinse the sausage before I place it in the cooker. It is amazing and mI family and friends love it.

  2. The last thing I made in my crockpot was shredded chicken. I made enough for a weeks worth of different meals. Love the crockpot

  3. BBQ pulled pork was the last thing I made in my crockpot. My family loves pulled pork made at home rather than the store bought variety.
