As you know, Simple Nourished Living is a blog that helps people eat better and/or lose weight by providing simple easy healthy Weight Watchers friendly recipes that include nutritional estimates along with WW SmartPoints and PointsPlus estimates. Recipes for food that is simple to make, lower in fat and calories and delicious and satisfying to eat.

Why write a Slow Cooker e-cookbook?

Over the past year I attempted to use my slow cooker every day to make Weight Watchers friendly recipes. In the process I fell madly deeply in love with my slow cookers.

The slow cooker, is without a doubt, the busy cook’s best friend. And not just during the fall and winter. Cooking in a crock pot is a wonderful way to avoid heating up the house during the summer.

These Weight Watchers slow cooker recipes all have been published here and in other locations. But I’ve had several people ask about a cookbook.

And I realized that it might be helpful to gather some favorites in the one handy ebook that you can keep on your laptop or computer at work as a quick reference when you need a little slow cooking inspiration.
