Since Martha and I started sharing more of our experiences with oils, there’s one question in particular that seems to get asked more than almost any other when it comes to essential oils and their uses.
And the question usually sounds something like either, “How do I use essential oils?” or “How do I know which oils to use?”

When it comes to using essential oils, there’s really no one-size-fits-all guide. There are definitely some recommended uses, but since we’re all slightly different biologically, there will need to be some trial-and-error until you find the best oils that work best for you and your body.
And it really can be as simple as unscrewing the cap off the bottles, smelling the different oils and determining which ones resonate most with you in that moment!
I like to think of the world of therapeutic essential oils as a great big toolbox. There’s lots of different oils and lots of different oil blends for a wide variety of uses.
