  1. 1. What I enjoy the most about Christmas is the quality time with my family (daughter and future son and law, nephew and his family). Unfortunately, most of my family live in other parts of the country thankfully we keep in close contact via phone and summertime visits.
    2. My favorite Christmas movie is – A Christmas Story.
    3. I would like to make the Weight Watchers Crockpot Garden Vegetable soup. Love that it will taste great and has zero Smart Points. Our weather is currently -25 Celsius, I find hot soup warms the body and soul.
    4. My favorite health tip – Make it conscious. Tracking works and makes a person more accountable to what they are eating. Sometimes it’s hard to stay on track.
    5. My top goal is to continue on my journey of a healthy lifestyle by continuing to make healthy choices and exercising. I am approximate 20 pounds from my goal weight. I have lost over 60 pounds in the past few years. When I first started my journey exercise was a chore now it’s a daily routine which I enjoy, especially walking.

    4. I need to get back to keeping a food journal and not mindlessly eating. I also need to cut myself some slack (but not too much!). 🙂

  4. I love all the lights, sounds of Christmas music & the smells of the wonderful foods that are being prepared. But mostly I love how most people seem to be a little more kinder & sharing with each other. Lets not forget about the true meaning of Christmas is all the the baby Jesus that was born, for without him, there would be NO Christmas.
    I love to watch all the Hallmark Christmas movies about love, friends & family.
    I love to cook, so I am trying all your delicous recipes. So thank you for making this web site Martha.

  5. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ — I love to be in church with my family on Christmas Eve and to have a special meal with them after church.

    My favorite movie is It’s a Wonderful Life — truly a story of a man seeing his importance the world and making a difference in peoples lives.

    I want to try the Pear and Blue Cheese salad — I love salads for dinner and am always looking for new ingredients.

    My 2018 is to get back the self control I had a few years back when I lost 100 pounds. I have put back on some of that weight and I need to manage my stress better and my self control. WW was a big part of me losing 100 pounds.

  9. 1) The one thing I most love about Christmas is the true magic and spirit of the holiday season, especially being able to share recipes as we bring “goodies” to the homes of friends and family.
    2) My favorite Christmas movie is Prancer.
    3) I will definitely be making the Budget Bouillabaisse. Since the temperature has dropped and I’m a true seafood lover, this recipe looks amazing and it’s pocketbook friendly too!
    4) Control Your Environment is something I will truly put into my everyday routine by packing healthy lunches, snacks and planning meals for success. Keeping only healthy good-for-you foods conveniently on hand will truly aid in my health and weight loss goals.
    5) In 2018, I want to lose the weight that I’ve gained and incorporate a healthy lifestyle into my household by getting my husband to join in so that we can both enjoy an active lifestyle together.
