1)I love the Christmas lights the most at Christmas time. 2) My favorite Christmas movie it “It’s a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart. 3) I want to try the slow cooker scalloped potatoes and ham in January. 4) Secret #5, Add Movement to your Days resonates with me the most as I have a desk job. 5) My top health/wellness goal for 2018 is to loose 20 pounds.
Specifically, my favorite part about Christmas is sitting around the Christmas tree just taking in some quiet moments, but I love the whole season in general. It is my favorite time of the year!
My favorite movie is Miracle on 34th Street.
I would like to make Chicken Soup with Spinach and Whole Wheat Acini di Pepe from Skinnytaste.
Of the Seven Secrets of Weight Loss, #2 – Control Your Environment, has been really important in getting me started and continuing on my journey – not having chocolate (particularly Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups) in the house all the time available to eat has made a big difference for me. I can pass them up in the grocery store isle, but don’t seem to always have that same willpower at home, so if it’s not in the house, I can’t eat it! However, #6 – Find Support, is also extremely important for me. When I go to my Weight Watcher meetings every week I feel like I get a new boost of motivation that will help get me through the upcoming week. I have a great leader and a really wonderful group of people in the meeting that share strategies, etc., and it is something I look forward to each week!
My goal for 2018 is to reach my goal and become a lifetime member. I have done WW once before and stopped going after I reached my goal due to a variety of reasons, and I think that was part of the reason that the weight came back. I think if I continue attending meetings once I reach Lifetime that that will be an important part of helping me to stay in the right mindset and maintain the weight loss!
Here is my entry:
1. Spending time with family, doing our holiday traditions
2. The Grinch
3. Chicken Pot Pie Soup – I love soups!
4. Establish healthy habits – I know this is key for me.
5. Make good food choices one day a time.

4) the Secret of Weight Loss that resonates most with me is “Make it Conscious” – no more unconscious eating! @nd is “Don’t Live in Deprivation” – I love that there isn’t anything I can’t have, if I’m willing to spend the points.
5) My top health/wellness goal for 2018 is to make it to Lifetime status
(1) What do you love most about Christmas?
Christmas means one thing – REUNION! It is the one time of the year that we all get together, the whole clan, and exchange stories of how our year went and what we look forward to in the coming one. It’s also a time of celebrating life’s blessings and making everyone feel the support from all sides – regardless of the distance and busy schedules throughout the year.
(2) What is your favorite Christmas movie?
Always and forever, HOME ALONE! Lol. It isn’t necessarily a “Christmas” movie per se, but it hits very close to home whenever I see the film.
(3) Use this recipe search to find one new recipe you want to make in January and tell us what it is.
ASIAN and FILIPINO dishes. I couldn’t just choose one – I’d like to try them all. I searched but couldn’t come up with a decision so I (will try) to prepare them all.
(4) Which of these 7 Secrets of Weight Loss most resonates with you?
Give Yourself A Break. Most of the time, when we aim for something, we forget that the faster way to get there is to take your time. We want things to happen faster ending damaging ourselves and even adding up more to our frustrations. It’s okay to take a break – it doesn’t mean you’re lazy, or neither are you stopping, but it’s more of giving your self all the time in needs.
(5) What is your top health/wellness goal for 2018?
To establish healthier habits! Eating healthy and living healthy is the key to achieving a balanced and active lifestyle.
1.) Being with friends and family at Christmas.
2,) Christmas Carol is my favorite movie.
3.) Chicken Pot Pie Soup – love trying new soups and eating them when it is cold outside
4.)Keeping a food diary and finding those weeks that give me the most success.
5.) Goal to try the Weight Watchers Freestyle Progam
1.Family,
2. National Lampoon Christmas Vacation.
3. Turkey meatloaf.
4 . weight watchers at work round 4.
5. Reach goal and learn how to maintain weight loss.
Down 65 pounds!
My husband and I have 3 grown children, 10 grandkids from 23 – 5 and all of them know that there is always “room for one more at the table” if someone is stranded, alone or just wants to be with a big rowdy group full of laughter and love…and some very good food!
