I like to give useful household supplies and grocery gift cards. These are both items most people don’t want to have to spend money on, and it’s useful. Everyone needs groceries, gas in their car, etc. What I like to receive is anything unexpected or something that maybe I wouldn’t have spent on myself, like perfume, a special gadget in the kitchen, baking tools, etc.
My favorite gift to receive is time. With busy lives I find that is the most precious thing if someone takes time out to get together. My favorite gift to give is when for no reason or special occasion I find something that just speaks to me of the person and give that to them.
WE love amazon! We can have things deliver to any campground while we are traveling the USA in our RV.
I love to give and receive gift cards! That way the person has a wide variety of things they can spend it on.
I LOVE giving gifts…my favorite to give are things that people would not buy themselves or something that just made me think of them…

I love to shop for my great nieces and nephews and get them extras that mom and dad would love to give them but don’t have the resources for. To see a child’s face light up with excitement is one of the best feelings in the world. The gift I love to receive is the gift of time…to spend with those I love. Just being together makes me happy.
Favorite gifts to give are the ones that involve others and experiences. Family movie nights with treats for all, dinner out with babysitting provided, send a cleaning team before a big party to help the hostess, tickets to a favorite speaker, tickets to zip line or making a blanket for a friend to use when she goes out to the movies because she is always cold. The gifts I give are also the type I like to receive. Gift cards are nice, but they are easy. Finding a gift that is personal and special to that person is so worth your time and energy.
My favorite gifts to give is to find a gift that I took the time to find and that I know the person would like. Usually it is also something I would like to receive as well. My favorite gift to receive are books, and items someone made or had thought put into the gift.
I always try to consider the person I am buying a gift for as to what they may need and cannot buy or just may not put themselves first and buy what they want. I look for gifts that make them smile when they open it and get so excited!
