The winner of the gift card is Kathy E. who said…

“Gift-giving is something I love because I enjoy making personalized gifts, especially sewing up tote bags, coaster sets, quilts and table runners. I always keep the recipient’s preferences and colors in mind as I sew, always adding love to every stitch! Of course, receiving handmade gifts is the best too! Gift-giving and receiving are always appreciated with thoughtfulness and love behind the act.”

Congratulations Kathy E., please send an email support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your gift card!

  1. I love to give more than receive. I take a lot of time picking out the perfect gifts for the people that I love. Usually something special and engraved with meaningful quotes or dates.

  2. I love to give AND receive handmade gifts. There is just something so special about receiving a gift that someone actually took the time to make. I also think it’s a great way to make a gift more personable for the particular person you are giving to.

  3. I think anything that allows the recipient some self indulgence is a great gift! I love to give body lotions and scrubs, preferably lavender scented, sachets, and candles. Of late, I have also gifted pretty pens and gel markers and journals. Mindfulness is important and being able to journalize, color and write special thoughts helps clear the mind!

  4. Recently have tried to give “experiential” gifts – an activity, class, or event tickets so it gives people a chance to try something new (like zip lining) or do something I know they enjoy – movies, music concert, even s restaurant gift card).

  5. My favorite gifts would be something I can use in the kitchen. For example, I just ordered a carbon steel peeler which would make peeling butternut squash easier. Amazon makes it so easy to have your hearts desire.

  6. O love to give and receive homemade gifts. I have a daughter that sees and I always welcome her homemade gifts. I love to give baked items as gifts. Your recipes help a lot with ideas for giving.
