My favorite things to give as well as receive are home made items. Anything from canned goods to quilts. It tells me the person put extra love into it because was created by their own hands??
I love to give personalized, hand-made gifts…and I love to receive luxury items, like designer lipstick or a fancy clutch 🙂
I love getting things that my grandchildren have made, they are special treasures from the heart….
My favorite gifts are given spontaneously, because someone is thinking of you. Or because you are thinking of someone! It can be just a little thing to show someone how special they are to you.
I’m a giver, I like to give gifts that mean something special to the receiver. Something that will make their eyes light up. My favorite gifts to receive are anything my boys make me. They’re only little once and their hand made gifts may not look perfect to others, but they are to me!
I love giving and receiving gifts cards. Grocery stores, I-tunes, restaurant, LCBO are all great gifts! Sometimes you don’t know what to get someone, so a gift allows them to get something they have been looking at but didn’t want to spend the money on!
My favorite gifts to receive ( and give) are good smelling soaps! I love the fresh smell, and although many now like the foam soaps, i still prefer bar soaps.
Ones from the heart, that I know the giver has put thought into. And, Amazon is one of my favorite places to shop!!!
