The winner of the gift card is Kathy E. who said…

“Gift-giving is something I love because I enjoy making personalized gifts, especially sewing up tote bags, coaster sets, quilts and table runners. I always keep the recipient’s preferences and colors in mind as I sew, always adding love to every stitch! Of course, receiving handmade gifts is the best too! Gift-giving and receiving are always appreciated with thoughtfulness and love behind the act.”

Congratulations Kathy E., please send an email support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your gift card!

  1. I like to give gifts that are completely unexpected….but useful. Example – for my oldest daughter…mom of 3 boys under 5 – I give her things to help her relax…a nice tea pot with some herb teas for her birthday.

I like to receive gifts that are something I need

  2. I do like the option of giving and receiving gift cards. They are the right size and fit all. So often you just don’t know what to give to that someone special and the gift card is just the best present to receive.

  3. There are a variety of things I like to give especially to the grandkids. I love to give books, homemade cards and do up scrapbooks for the kids and families. When the grandkids were younger, I took them to Daytons at Christmas and then for lunch at the Oak Grill. These are memories I hope the kids will cherish as much as I do.

  4. My favorite gifts are photos.
A photo captures a particular place, event or celebration.
Every time I look at a photo I am filled with a warm memory of who I was and whomever the photos is of at that time.
For example the photo of my granddaughter in her “bunny” jacket, just makes me smile!

  5. Oh, what a treat! As a handicapped person, driving is out for me; so I tend to focus on gifts suited to the person. A shopping trip is often with a list of upcoming events–cards, gift cards, suitable book for a reading person. Gift cards are something I try to avoid–if the person has difficulty organizing time/money/going to app. store as I often do; I’m aware the item they’ll enjoy wearing/reading/doing etc. is important. Sometimes even a selection of pen/pencil,bow, app. gift wrap, card(s) can be a great help. My Mom was such a terrific giver of selecting when money was limited in our family.

  6. My favorite gifts to give and receive or ones that are special and personal to me or the person I’m giving it to.
