The winner of the gift card is Kathy E. who said…
“Gift-giving is something I love because I enjoy making personalized gifts, especially sewing up tote bags, coaster sets, quilts and table runners. I always keep the recipient’s preferences and colors in mind as I sew, always adding love to every stitch! Of course, receiving handmade gifts is the best too! Gift-giving and receiving are always appreciated with thoughtfulness and love behind the act.”
Congratulations Kathy E., please send an email support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your gift card!

I like to give homemade foods that I know the recipient enjoys. I like to receive flowers as they brighten my day.
I like to give and receive photo albums. Who doesn’t own one? I think a lot of people, my friends, family have and need photo albums.
I like to receive gifts that are being “re-cycled”, ie. something that someone has had and thinks that I might like to have it. Almost always, those are special gifts because someone has thought of me when giving away “stuff”. Those turn out to be, usually, the most useful gifts.
I learned from my mother the joy of giving and recieving handmade gifts. A quilt, pillow or tree skirt are gifts treasured for years to come.
I love to quilt, so something homemade and quilted.
Gift cards!
I like to crochet Hats, scarfs, afghan ,leggins to family and friends. I have even gave some to the YMCA. I even made a dessert that my family likes alot and gave one to each family member and I always take to B-B-Ques. I like to sew and cook.
My favorite gift is the gift of time. I love to make a plan for getting together. When giving a gift I usually give a card that states a time and place to get together just to have it on the calendar and then give the recipient permission to change the date. That way its on the calendar and may just need to be adjusted. In this time of life face to face time is what I love best.
Consumable gifts are the best. As we get older we all have to much stuff. Gifts that are consumable, a jar of dried soup mix, a box of assorted cards and stamps, agift certificate to a restuaunt. Special cookies or homemade
Fudge.
