Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Weight Struggle
I was very fit and active before the birth of my first child, but when I was pregnant I bought into the whole "eat for two" advice.
I gained 70 pounds during my pregnancy.
After about two months after having my daughter, my husband and I were out running errands. I ended up passing out in a parking lot and had to be rushed to the ER in an ambulance.
I was suffering from dehydration, sleep deprivation, and exhaustion.
That was my wake up call. I knew I had to get back in shape.
Once my doctor cleared me to exercise, I started doing a workout program that I created. I workout out at home at 5:30 a.m. about 4-5 days a week.
I monitored my caloric intake and eat five small meals a day, one every three hours.
It took me 11 months to lose the weight.
Today, I have kept off the weight.
I am a vegan blogger, and I try to inspire people with my story!
I am living proof that you can lose the post-pregnancy weight and keep it off as well!
