What cocktails and alcoholic drinks are low in calories?
Light beer and wine are good choices, because they're widely available and low in calories and Weight Watchers Points. The average 5 ounce glass of wine has about 120 calories and 4 Weight Watchers Points. To make it go even further, order a spritzer -- iced wine plus seltzer! Perfect for warm weather.

How Many Calories in Hard Seltzer?
Most hard seltzers are about 100 calories per 12 oz can and are typically about 4 WW points.
What is the Lowest Point Alcoholic Drink on Weight Watchers?
Calories in distilled alcohols such as vodka, gin, tequila and whiskey are based on the proof. A typical 1.5 ounce shot of 80 proof alcohol has about 100 calories. The higher the proof, the higher the alcohol and more calories the alcohol will have so if you are counting calories look for those with a lower proof number.
The lowest calorie option is to sip your liquor on the rocks. You'll slow down and savor a single drink, saving you calories in the long run.
The other option is to limit the calories of your mixer. There are a lot of tasty low calorie choices.
Favorite Low Calorie Cocktail Mixers
Liven up that simple booze + seltzer combo with bitters. They have super high flavor so you just need a dash.
Club Soda, Sparkling Water or Seltzer Water
These make great mixers because you get the bubbles without adding extra calories. Pair your favorite alcohol with a few ounces of club soda or sparkling water and a small splash of your favorite fruit juice and your cocktail will be tasty and fairly low in calories. Club soda or seltzer water is also a great way to stretch your white wine too. Remember white wine spritzers? Well, I'm happy to report that they're back! I like rose wine spritzers too.
Diet sodas are another great mixer for alcoholic beverages. I like Sprite Zero, Coke Zero, Diet 7up, ginger ale, tonic and Squirt.
Fresh lemons, limes, oranges, pineapple, and fresh or frozen berries, mango, etc. are great additions to low calorie drinks.
There are lots of low-calorie juice drinks available these days. Some of my favorites include Ocean Spray 5 calorie juice drinks (cranberry, cran-lemonade, cran-raspberry, etc.) and Tropicana Trop 50 with 50% less sugar and calories.
Sugar-Free Drink Mixes
Adding them to cocktails is a great idea because they're mostly calorie-free and they taste great. My favorites are Crystal Light Lemonade and Fruit punch flavors.
Torani Sugar-Free Syrups
These low calorie syrups come in a whole slew of flavors. They are ideal for cocktails and mixed with club soda for low calorie Italian sodas. I'm especially fond of mango, orange and peach.
