Goals, no matter how big or small, can only be accomplished through a solid plan.

As the great Pablo Picasso once said:

Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.
~ Pablo Picasso

So, what’s on your list? Is it eating healthier? Cooking more nutritious meals? Losing or maintaining your weight? Improving your fitness? Taking better care of yourself?

    2. Make Meal Planning and Prepping a Habit

One of the top reasons resolutions fail is due to unhealthy eating habits. Meal planning and prepping can be a game-changer!

Having healthy meals cooked and ready to go makes it much easier to make smart food choices. Imagine walking through the door after a long day and finding a slow-cooked, nutritious dinner waiting for you, instead of reaching for the chips or ordering takeout.

Meal planning reduces stress, saves time, and eliminates the temptation of unhealthy convenience foods. With a little preparation, you’ll have more control over what you’re eating, leading to fewer extra calories and less temptation.

Here are some resources to help with your meal planning journey:

    3. Create or Join a Support Group

Did you know that the people you surround yourself with can have a significant impact on your health and success? The right support can make all the difference.

Having a strong support system is crucial when pursuing your health and fitness goals. Surround yourself with people who share similar goals and who can motivate and hold you accountable.

Support doesn’t need to be complicated or formal—it can be as simple as connecting with friends or co-workers who are on a similar journey. Here are a few support options to consider:

    • Private Coaching (one-on-one or in small groups)
    • Online Coaching & Communities (such as Facebook groups or forums)
    • Commercial Weight Loss Programs (like WW with their active community)
    • Social Media Support and Motivation
    • Non-profit Community Organizations
    • Workout Buddies

Having others to share the highs and lows with, and who understand the struggles, will help you stay motivated and overcome obstacles along the way.

Track Your Progress and Celebrate Small Wins

Keeping track of your progress not only holds you accountable but also allows you to celebrate your victories along the way. Celebrate small wins—every step forward is a step toward your larger goal.

Whether it’s tracking your meals, workouts, or simply acknowledging your healthier choices, celebrating your successes will boost your confidence and motivation.

And be nice to yourself. If I go off track, I just get right back on. I try not to kick myself and feel like I’ve failed. Because I haven’t… I just took a day or two break. Thank you for all the work you put into this site. You’ve been a big help to me. Your emails and recipes always keep me interested in succeeding. LOVE your hair change!!!
