golden beet juice with pineapple and pear

Since beginning this 30 Days of Juicing experiment I’ve become hyper-aware of fresh juice. It’s everywhere. In restaurants.  Juice Bars. Grocery Stores. I’m surrounded by fresh juice ๐Ÿ™‚

Like the other day when I met my friend, Alisa, at True Food Kitchen. In addition to our lunch menus, our waiter presented us with a separate Juice Menu. I felt compelled to order one in the name of science and asked him which he liked best. Without hesitation he said, “The Golden Child.”

What is True Foods Golden Child Juice?

Golden Beet Juice with Pineapple and Pear.

We sampled a little bit before lunch arrived. It was very good. Well balanced. Not too sweet.  Wanting to save room for lunch, I set the rest aside and brought it home for an energizing late afternoon pick me up.

The Skinny on Golden Beet Juice

If you are interested in experimenting with beet juice this golden beet juice with pineapple and pear may be the way to go. And be sure to peel the beets before juicing them to minimize their  “dirt-like” “earthy” flavor.  Made primarily of sugar-rich fruits this is definitely a juice meant to be sipped in small quantities.

According to my calculations each serving has 120 calories and *3 Weight Watchers Points Plus.

Enjoy!
