(30 Days of Juicing Day #8 – Pineapple Pear Spinach Juice)
Believe it or not, as much as I enjoy juicing, I’ve never added fresh pineapple to my homemade juices before. Martha keeps telling me how much it adds to the overall flavor, so I picked up a pineapple at the store yesterday with the intention of using it in today’s recipe.
Wanting to take a little break from kale, I decided to use some spinach and pear – along with the pineapple – and here’s what I came up with…

The Skinny on Pineapple Pear Spinach Juice
My tendency when making my own juices (and not following a specific tried-and-true recipe) is to taste as I go.
I began by juicing about a half bunch of fresh spinach, 1 green anjou pear, and 1 asian pear (which is almost more apple-like than pear). It was still tasting pretty “earthy” at this point, so I knew it was time for some pineapple.
And this did the trick. The pineapple really sweetened the juice up and made it super-tasty!
According to my calculations, each serving of pineapple pear spinach juice has about 75 calories and 2* Weight Watchers Points Plus.
