Alisha is a working mom who is busy with three beautiful children under the age of ten.

A fellow Weight Watcher, she has discovered that taking a couple of hours at the beginning of the week to plan out her meals, prepare a grocery list and get her shopping done, helps to make the rest of the week much less stressful. In addition to saving more, it helps her stay on track with her weight loss goals too.

I’m a huge fan of Alisha’s 12-Week Meal Planner eCookbook (affiliate link) – a practical efficient resource for Weight Watchers that will save you hours of time on meal planning each week!

I love that Alisha’s meal plans feature simple recipes the entire family will love.

I first met Alisha last March, when she graciously agreed to host a giveaway of my Slow Cooker Recipes eCookbook, which included her featuring six of my recipes in this Weight Watchers Friendly Meal Plan.

Then in December she put together this amazing WW friendly meal plan using recipes from my Comfort Food Favorites eCookbook, which was hugely popular with her family and her readers.

Alisha definitely has a knack for meal planning!

Weight Watchers Friendly Meal Plan #24 {Meal Planning Mommies}

Every second Saturday of the month she will be sharing her most recent WW Friendly Meal Plan with us here on Simple Nourished Living.

You’ll be able to preview what’s on her menu for the coming week and then pop on over to her site to print off the recipes and grocery list.

How awesome is that?

On the menu this week: Six WW friendly recipes that could easily become family favorites: Crispy BBQ Chicken Tenders, Hash Brown Topped Steak, Hearty Chicken Tortellini Soup, Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken, Southwest Kielbasa Skillet, and BLT Wraps…

6 things you will love about this meal plan:

  1. It uses ingredients that are probably familiar to you, but feel like they should be off limits when you are trying to lose weight. You will enjoy foods like tortellini, steak, barbecue potato chips, and sausage this week. YUM!
  2. The smart points for each of these recipes are between 5-8 Weight Watchers SmartPoints per serving. Guilt free and manageable.
  3. You won’t feel like you are on a diet.
  4. We did all the planning for you. All you have to do is print off the grocery list, get the groceries, and follow the recipes.
  5. Quick and easy recipes (especially the honey mustard chicken) that will take less than 30 minutes to prepare.
  6. These are one pot wonders, so you won’t need to dirty up lots of pots and pans with these recipes.

Family Feedback:

My personal favorite of these recipes was the hash brown topped steak.

My kids liked the crispy BBQ chicken tenders and the honey mustard chicken the most.

My husband was surprised at how much he liked the Southwest Kielbasa Skillet dinner. In fact, he even helped me come up with the name for that recipe.

There is something for everyone this week.

WW Recipe #1: Crispy BBQ Chicken Tenders

If you have made crispy chicken before you are probably familiar with the old “dip the chicken in flour, then egg, then some kind of breading” trick. This recipe takes that concept and makes it sweet by adding a little brown sugar to the flour mixture, and tangy, by using barbecue PopChips in place of traditional breading.

WW Recipe #2: Hash Brown Topped Steak

Makes 6 servings5 SmartPoints per serving

As soon as your melt the butter and add the onion you will be glad you chose to make this quick and easy steak dinner. It smells amazing and tastes every bit as good as it smells. The onion, hash browns, cheese and steak all go together so well!

WW Recipe #3: Hearty Chicken and Tortellini Soup

Makes 6 servings7 SmartPoints per serving

Tortellini! I just love a recipe that uses tortellini, don’t you? This soup is hearty and delicious with chicken, tomatoes, spinach, and tortellini.

WW Recipe #4: Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Makes 6 servings6 SmartPoints per serving

This honey mustard grilled chicken recipe is every bit as delicious (and easy) as it looks. Four simple ingredients is all it takes to get this dinner on the table, and the chances of you having all four of these ingredients in your kitchen at any given time is pretty good! If you have light mayo, mustard, honey and some chicken, you can make this recipe.

WW Recipe #5: Southwest Kielbasa Skillet

Makes 5 servings, 8 SmartPoints per serving

Southwest Kielbasa Skillet - 8 SmartPoints

This is a “ONE-POT-WONDER” recipe. The kielbasa, veggies, and rice all get cooked in one pot, and it smells amazing!

WW Recipe #6: BLT Wraps

Makes 8 wraps, 5 SmartPoints per wrap

You are going to love these BLT wraps that are a cinch to put together. Save this recipe for a night when you have less that fifteen minutes to get dinner on the table. By using precooked bacon you save yourself the time (and mess) of cooking a big package of bacon.
