These quick and easy warm Stovetop Cinnamon Apples are perfectly sweet, delicious, and so versatile. I love how fast these come together, and there are so many ways to serve them!
1poundapples (3-4 medium sized), peeled and sliced (4 cups) (I used honey crisp)
3/4teaspoonground cinnamon
1/2cupsugar-free maple flavored syrup
1/4cupwater
3/4teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Set a medium-size saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and stir until melted.
Add the apples and cinnamon and cook, stirring often until the apples are lightly brown and just tender, 6-8 minutes.
Mix together the syrup, water and vanilla Add to the apples and cook, stirring often until the mixture bubbles, 1-2 minutes.
