Nothing says comfort like grilled cheese and tomato soup. With this healthy low calorie recipe you’ll never have to dunk your sandwich in your soup again.
Add the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
Spread 1 rounded tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto 4 slices of bread.
Top each with a slice of American cheese.
Add the remaining bread to make a sandwich.
Lightly spray both sides with cooking spray.
Cook in a waffle iron on medium for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
If you prefer, use a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side, or until golden brown.
