Instructions
Preheat broiler lightly spray a broiler pan (or broiler rack) with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, add the tomatoes, thyme, oil, salt and pepper and toss to coat.
Place the tomatoes, cut side up, on prepared pan. Broil (about 6 inches from heat) until tomatoes soften and begin to char slightly, about 10 - 12 minutes.
Arrange tomatoes on a large plater and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped basil.
Serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
