This Easy New Orleans BBQ Shrimp is a lighter version of the Louisiana classic. Made with shrimp, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and spices, it's packed with flavor and ready in about 15 minutes.
2tablespoonsfat-free Caesar or Creamy Italian dressing
1tablespoonminced garlic
1/4teaspooncayenne
2tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonpaprika
2teaspoonsdried oregano
2teaspoonsdried thyme leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
1poundmedium to large peeled shrimp
1/3cupwhite wine or cooking wine
Instructions
In a large nonstick skillet, combine oil, Italian dressing, garlic, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper over medium heat until sauce begins to boil.
Add shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Add wine and cook until the shrimp are done, 3 to 5 additional minutes. Serve hot.
