This air fry beets recipe would work well with your favorite root vegetables: potatoes, sweet potatoes, golden beets, carrots, parsnips, turnips, radishes, etc.No oregano? Thyme, Herbs d Provence, rosemary granulated garlic, garlic powder, za’atar or ras el hanout would all work well. Experiment with whatever flavors you fancy!Brighter? A squeeze of fresh lemon juice would brighten this great side dish. As would a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. No feta? A good substitute for feta cheese depends on the flavor and texture you're looking to replicate in your dish. Here are a few options:
Cottage Cheese: Cottage cheese has a similar crumbly texture to feta and provides a creamy, tangy flavor. It’s a lower-fat option compared to feta and works well in salads, wraps, and pasta dishes.
Goat Cheese: Goat cheese shares some similarities with feta in terms of tanginess and creaminess. While it’s usually softer and creamier than feta, it can still be crumbled and used as a topping for salads, pizzas, and roasted vegetables.
Queso Fresco: Queso fresco is a mild, fresh cheese with a slightly salty taste. It is crumbly like feta and can be used in similar ways, such as sprinkled over tacos, salads, or grilled vegetables.
