Instructions
Add 1 cup of water to Instant Pot. Put rack in pot. Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Place chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Add hot sauce and 1 teaspoon seasoning. Toss to coat the wings.
Place chicken wings on top of rack close and lock the lid.
Cook on HIGH pressure for 10 minutes. Quick release pressure when done.
Remove wings with tongs and place on the prepared sheet pan. Sprinkle seasoning over wings and rub to coat thoroughly.
Broil wings for 5-8 minutes to crisp to desired doneness.
Recipe Notes
If you can't find the drummettes, or want to save a little money, use full wings. Cut off and discard the tips. Cut each wing at joint to make two sections.
Put them on a hot grill instead of under the broiler to crips them up.
Use any dry seasoning choice like cajun, blackened, lemon pepper or Southwest.
Brush on any BBQ or wing sauce when wings are done.
Use just wings sauce without the dry rub.
Crumble a little blue cheese over the platter of cooked wings.
