Ingredients

  • 1 package (8.9 ounces) Betty Crocker yellow cupcake mix
  • 2/3 cup club soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup favorite icing

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Grease an 8-inch round pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the cake mix, club soda and vanilla until well blended.
  • Scrape batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Place in the center of the oven and bake until a thin knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 25 to 35 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
  • When cool, remove from the pan and spread with a very thin coating of your favorite frosting.
