I began Weight Watchers in 1968, however it took me five tries to get to my goal weight. My doctors says I am healthy because I have lost 100 lbs and maintained for over four years.

I suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and back problems.

I eat simply filling foods, power foods keep me full much longer. I love shrimp stir frys, steak tacos, and a lot of veggies/fruits. I love to cook my own meals.

Since I am disabled, I can only walk at stores. I love walking through stores for my exercise.
What Has Been The Biggest Change/Payoff For You So Far?
Wearing size 12 jeans, belts, being off 5 high blood pressure pills, being healthy and happy that I continue my weekly meeting for scale accountability.

100 lbs lost. It took me since 1968, but got serious in 2010 when I retired. I reached my goal four years ago.
My Favorite Recipes Is...
6 extra large shrimp, bean sprouts, red bell peppers, onion, garlic, zucchini, and mushrooms. Sesame ginger sauce and Teriyaki sauce.
Stir fry shrimp & veggies, add sauce & water, cover 5 minutes.

What a beautiful story! You look younger now than ever! My mom was on Weight Watchers in the late 60s, and I remember we had liver on the menu a LOT! 😉 Thank you SO much for the inspiration. I was thin in my late teens and early 20s, but at age 50 I'm 100 lbs overweight. I've never lost more than 25, so it doesn't feel possible. But you help me to see that it is.
