If you grew up loving Orange Creamsicle popsicles, you’re going to love this easy No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Pie.
With its creamy orange filling and light graham cracker crust, every bite tastes like the classic frozen treat that inspired it. The combination of orange gelatin, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and whipped topping creates a light, fluffy texture that’s somewhere between a mousse, cheesecake, and pie.
One of the things I love most about this recipe is that it feels indulgent while staying surprisingly light. The cottage cheese adds a little extra protein and creaminess without making the pie heavy.

Graham cracker crumbs – Create a simple homemade crust. Gluten-free graham crackers work well if needed.
Butter – Helps bind the crust together.
Egg whites – Add structure to the crust while keeping it lighter.
Boiling water – Dissolves the gelatin.
Sugar-free orange gelatin – Provides the signature creamsicle flavor and helps the pie set. Lemon, lime, peach, raspberry, strawberry, or cherry gelatin can be substituted.
Low-fat cottage cheese – Blends into a silky smooth filling while adding protein. Small curd cottage cheese works best.
Reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel) – Adds richness and a cheesecake-like texture.
Light whipped topping – Makes the filling fluffy and light. Reduced-fat whipped topping works best.

How to Make No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Pie
Step 1: Gather and prepare all ingredients.

Step 2: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Set aside 9-inch pie dish.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and egg whites until thoroughly combined.

Step 4: Press graham mixture into bottom of pie dish (you won’t have enough to cover the sides), smoothing into an even layer.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is firm and set. Remove from oven and set on wire rack to cool.

Step 5: While the crust is baking, boil the water and pour into clean mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the Jello until completely dissolved. Allow to cool.

Step 6: Add the cottage cheese to a food processor (affiliate link), or blender (affiliate link) (I used my Vitamix (affiliate link)), and process until creamy and smooth. Add the cream cheese and continue process until combined.
Step 7: Pour the Jello into the cream cheese mixture and process until well mixed.

Step 8: Pour the Jello mixture into a clean large mixing bowl (affiliate link) and gently fold in the thawed whipped topping.

Step 9: Spoon, or pour, the pie filling mixture over the crust and smooth into an even layer.

Step 10: Refrigerate the pie until set, at least 4 hours or overnight. Slice into 8 wedges.

Step 11: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.

Recipe Notes, Variations & Substitutions
The secret ingredient in this pie is cottage cheese. Once blended, it becomes completely smooth and creamy and helps create a lighter filling without sacrificing texture.
For best results, blend the cottage cheese until completely silky before adding the remaining ingredients.
This recipe is also incredibly adaptable. Try these flavor combinations:
- Lemon gelatin + blueberries
- Strawberry gelatin + sliced strawberries
- Raspberry gelatin + raspberries
- Peach gelatin + peaches
- Cherry gelatin + cherries
- Lime gelatin + fresh berries
For a stronger orange flavor, add 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest to the filling.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this pie:
- Plain and simple
- Topped with fresh raspberries
- Garnished with mandarin orange segments
- With fresh strawberries and blueberries
- With a dollop of additional whipped topping
It’s especially refreshing served well chilled on a warm day.
How to Store Leftovers
Store leftover pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Because this is a gelatin-based dessert, freezing is not recommended, as the texture may become grainy after thawing.

I haven’t tasted this yet but I’m sure it’s delicious. There is no direct connection to get the WW points so I input it into my WW recipe builder. It’s 8 points for each slice.
Hi Donna, There is a link to the WW Recipe Builder both in the body of the post and in the recipe card notes. Hope this helps. ~Martha
Is there substitution for cottage cheese which my family will not have? It is just nit an ootion for any of us…particularly me!
Hi Lu, I’ve only made this as written so I’m hesitant to suggest substitutions. If you try something else such as more cream cheese or yogurt, would love to know how it turns out for you. ~Martha
